Rising sickness rates. More legislation.

More and more legislation determines who has to call and when. But that legislation doesn't determine whether the conversation actually goes well.

Take the step towards guided contact moments.

The key isn't in the legislation, but in the conversation the manager has.

The need is there.

Every mandatory moment calls for a different kind of conversation, and managers often don't know what they can and can't ask.

Am I allowed to ask what's wrong?
Do I have to ask for a return date?
When does the occupational physician need to be involved?
What do I include and leave out of the report?
How do I announce contact with the occupational physician?
What if the employee doesn't want to talk?

How do I announce contact with the occupational physician?
What if the employee doesn't want to talk?
How do I stay in touch without being intrusive?
What do I say at a first sick note?
How do I talk to the team about someone's absence?
What if someone falls ill again after returning?
When should I check in with this employee again?
How do I start the conversation after a long absence?

From sick note to return to work.

Every mandatory contact moment is prepared, practised and followed up. Every conversation is an opportunity for positive impact.

01 Week 4 & framework

On time, with the right framework right away

As the legal week-4 moment approaches, Wundo has the right framework ready: what you can ask, what you can't, and when the occupational physician needs to be informed.

02 Practising the phone call

Practise the week-4 phone call first

The phone call around absence or return to work is often a challenging contact moment. The manager practises it with a realistic scenario and gets feedback before the real conversation happens.

03 Report, without a diagnosis

Recorded what counts, never what's private

Wundo automatically records what's functional: date, who, channel, agreements, next step. Guidelines make sure a diagnosis or medical details are never included.

Still have questions about absence & return to work with Wundo?

What pain points does Wundo solve in absence and return-to-work conversations?+

Wundo solves where absence and return-to-work policy gets stuck: conversations that happen too late or ad hoc, managers who don't know what they can and can't ask, and no visibility for HR into the status. Preparing, practising and following up becomes easier, so every legal contact moment happens on time and goes well. That directly affects return-to-work success and demonstrable compliance.

How much can this be tailored to our organisation?+

Fully: the framework, the guardrails and the timelines are tailored to your organisation. A library of practice conversations can also be provided, covering the challenges that often come up in absence and return-to-work conversations.

Does the AI take over the conversation, or does the manager stay in control?+

The manager has the conversation, Wundo supports: with preparing, practising and formulating. Wundo never takes over the conversation and never makes a medical judgement. The occupational physician's advice and the manager's conversation stay separate; the decision always lies with the human.

Do I need to use Wundo's notetaker to get good support from Wundo?+

No. Wundo has a built-in notetaker, but using it isn't required. With the notetaker, Wundo gives feedback on the conversation itself; without it, support still stands through the framework and earlier conversations. The notetaker is a plus, not a requirement.

Does Wundo replace our occupational physician or prevention service?+

No. Wundo is the practice and follow-up partner before or after their advice, not a replacement for it. The occupational physician and prevention service remain the owners of the medical and preventive side.

What about medical questions?+

Wundo provides the necessary guardrails so medical data is never included. What's more, users get tips on what they can and can't ask.

Can Wundo evolve with the legislation?+

Yes. Timelines and guardrails are configurable.

Which tools does Wundo integrate with?+

Wundo works directly in Teams and Slack, with no separate tool or login, and integrates with the Outlook calendar.
